Is it possible to play sports on my artificial lawn?
Artificial grass sports fields were especially designed for playing sports. There are different types of artificial sports fields as different sports have different requirements. For instance soccer requires a different type of grass than tennis. Sports grass does not necessarily have to look natural and can even be blue or orange coloured. One of the main conditions for Royal Grass® artificial grass was a natural look. Of course, it is possible to play a ball game on a sunny day or have your kids run on it, but Royal Grass® artificial lawn is not designed for official sports competitions. This has to do with the requirements that sports fields need to meet.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN WITH FALL-SAFE PLAYING GRASS?
A fall-safe artificial lawn is artificial grass that is installed on top of a shock-absorbing base. Playing equipment in public spaces are required to have this, but also individuals are now choosing a shock-absorbing mat underneath playing or climbing equipment.
CAN I MAKE A SLIDING ON MY ARTIFICIAL LAWN WITHOUT GETTING BURNS?
There are several types of artificial turf. The chemical composition of the synthetic materials determines its skin reaction and also if it will cause burns when making a sliding. We have learnt this from the sports industry (artificial turf for football). The synthetic material we use is the most sliding-friendly type available and feels pleasantly to touch. However it is not entirely comparable to the characteristics of natural grass.
